SELECTED WORK / SEO & AI SEARCH

SEO Projects,
Case Studies & Results

I work across established websites, local businesses, eCommerce stores, SaaS products, and multi-site environments—solving different search challenges with the same goal: make organic visibility more useful to the business behind the website.

My work spans technical SEO, content and search intent, site architecture, authority development, performance optimization, and emerging AI Search visibility. Some projects involve improving an established website; others involve building search foundations, entering a new market, or resolving technical problems that hold a site back.

The work below shows the context, decisions, implementations, and evidence behind selected projects.

PROJECT 01 / MULTI-SITE SEO / SEO LEAD

Improving organic search performance across a multi-site environment

Project Alhamd Islamic Center
Role SEO Lead
Started January 2024
Scope Multi-site SEO, technical foundations, content strategy, on-page optimization, performance, authority, and reporting

Managing SEO across multiple websites requires more than optimizing individual pages. Technical health, search intent, information architecture, content quality, internal relationships, and trust all affect how effectively a website can compete in search.

At Alhamd Islamic Center, I took responsibility for SEO across six websites, reviewing performance, setting priorities, guiding implementation, and adapting the work based on the evidence available.

The focus was not simply to publish more content or build more links. It was to identify the constraints affecting search visibility and address them across the website.

The performance evidence

Search Console reports are observational comparisons, not a controlled experiment. These figures indicate stronger observed organic search performance during the later reporting period; they do not establish that one isolated change caused the entire improvement.

What the work involved

Five connected workstreams spanning strategy, implementation, and performance measurement.

01 / SEARCH STRATEGY

Search intent and on-page SEO

Reviewed target queries, page purpose, content relevance, and the alignment between what people search for and what priority pages provide. Optimized existing pages and developed content opportunities around relevant search intent.

02 / TECHNICAL HEALTH

Technical SEO and performance

Addressed technical issues affecting website quality, search accessibility, and user experience, including performance and Core Web Vitals work. Reviewed indexing, site structure, and technical implementation as part of the broader SEO process.

03 / CONTENT QUALITY

Content quality and trust

Improved content and trust-related signals, with attention to experience, expertise, authority, and trustworthiness. Evaluated whether important pages communicated their purpose and value clearly.

04 / AUTHORITY

Authority and site-wide relationships

Worked on internal linking, website structure, and off-page authority development, alongside a broader program of content and technical improvements.

05 / EXECUTION & REPORTING

Measurement and team coordination

Reviewed performance in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, adjusted priorities based on results, and coordinated a five-person working team across content, off-page execution, SEO support, and social media.

Additional SEO work

Other activities and previously documented indicators that require supporting records for formal attribution.

Authority development

Other work included building links and referring domains, resolving technical problems, improving site speed, and strengthening existing content.

Previously documented indicators

Earlier reporting documented a domain authority change from 7 to 13, alongside more than 400 backlinks and 30 referring domains. The measurement tool, dates, and backlink quality should be documented before presenting these as formal results.

What this project demonstrates

The ability to lead SEO across multiple properties, connect technical and content decisions, coordinate execution, and evaluate results through first-party search data.

PROJECT 02 / ECOMMERCE / ORGANIC GROWTH

Turning organic visibility into a more useful acquisition channel.

eCommerce SEO is not just about getting product pages to rank. Category architecture, product discovery, commercial search intent, content relevance, and the path from search result to purchase all matter.

My eCommerce experience includes building and ranking my own store, working with online retail businesses, and providing long-term SEO support.

REPORTED PROJECT RESULTS / 24-MONTH PERIOD

The project involved growing organic visibility for a fashion and apparel store and supporting the journey from search discovery to conversion. The reported results provide a view of both traffic and commercial outcomes, rather than rankings alone.

LONG-TERM ECOMMERCE SEO

Rachel’s Tea

I have also provided long-term SEO support for Rachel’s Tea, an eCommerce project spanning more than two years.

This relationship reflects a different side of SEO work: sustained optimization and continued attention to organic discovery rather than treating SEO as a one-time launch task.

The project belongs in the portfolio as evidence of long-term eCommerce experience. I would not assign it a specific traffic or revenue outcome until the underlying data is available and approved for publication.

A sustained SEO relationship

Consistent optimization beyond the initial launch.

More than two years of eCommerce SEO support.

What this work demonstrates

Experience with eCommerce search behavior, commercial intent, website optimization, and the importance of measuring outcomes beyond ranking position.

PROJECT 03 / SAAS / PRODUCT AND SEO FOUNDATIONS

PasteReady — Building search visibility alongside the product.

A SaaS website has to explain what a product does, help the right users discover it, and make its pages understandable to search engines. Search cannot be treated as a finishing touch once the product is already built.

PasteReady.io is an AI text-tools product I have worked on building and developing alongside its SEO foundations. This gives me a perspective beyond optimizing an established client website: product structure, website architecture, discoverability, content, and search intent need to work together.

PRODUCT + SEARCH

What the work involves

SEO foundations developed alongside the product.

Technical and on-page foundations

Building and improving technical and on-page SEO foundations.

Product-led website architecture

Structuring pages around product purpose and relevant search intent.

Content and internal linking

Developing content and internal-link relationships to support discovery.

Indexing and performance review

Reviewing indexing and organic search performance.

Traditional search and AI-powered discovery

The project also provides a practical context for exploring how AI-related products can be discovered through traditional search and how their content may be surfaced by AI-powered search experiences.

Evidence before headline claims. A previously discussed figure of 142 ranking keywords within ten weeks should only be published after verifying the tracking tool, database, country, dates, and keyword definition. AI Search impression figures should also remain unpublished until their reporting source and period are confirmed.

What this project demonstrates

Hands-on experience connecting SaaS development, technical SEO, content, and search discoverability — treating search visibility as part of product development, not a disconnected marketing task.

PROJECT 04 / INTERNATIONAL SEO / UK MARKET

Alhamd UK — Evaluating organic visibility in a separate market.

Search performance does not automatically transfer from one country to another. A website serving a different market needs to be assessed in the context of its audience, search demand, content, and technical setup.

Alhamd UK is a separate UK-focused web property associated with the wider Alhamd organization. The work represents an international SEO context distinct from the primary Alhamd website.

INTERNATIONAL SEO / UNITED KINGDOM

A separate market. A separate search context.

Evaluating organic visibility for a UK-focused website means interpreting its own search data and audience context, rather than assuming results will transfer from another market.

MARKET CONTEXT / SEO STRATEGY

Why this project matters

Understand the market before assuming the outcome.

The objective of international SEO is not to copy a successful page and assume it will perform identically elsewhere. It is to understand the target market, evaluate the site's own search data, and build the right foundation for that audience.

This project provides a practical example of assessing organic visibility for a separate market and property.

What this project demonstrates

Experience working with international website properties and interpreting their search performance in context — recognizing that each market needs to be evaluated on its own audience, search data, and website foundations.

SELECTED IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE

The work behind search performance.

Not every meaningful SEO project produces a single headline metric. Some of the most consequential work involves resolving technical problems, protecting migrations, strengthening a site's foundations, and making websites easier to maintain and grow.

My hands-on experience spans the technical, operational, and implementation work that supports sustainable search visibility.

01

Technical SEO

Audits and remediation focused on crawling, indexing, internal linking, site architecture, on-page issues, performance, and Core Web Vitals.

THE BROADER PICTURE

From individual websites to varied SEO environments.

Since starting in July 2017, my work has expanded across local businesses, multi-site projects, education, eCommerce, SaaS, international properties, and AI Search exploration.

Ongoing Area of Work / AI Search

From Google rankings to AI Search visibility.

Search visibility is changing. Measurement must change with it.

Traditional organic search remains important, but discovery is expanding across standard search results, AI-generated answers, cited sources, and referral traffic from AI tools.

Three connected areas of focus

01 / 03

Rank

Build a strong foundation through technical SEO, useful content, search intent alignment, and relevance. Traditional organic search remains an important part of overall visibility.

Search foundations
02 / 03

Retrieve

Make important information easier for search and AI systems to understand. Clear topics, meaningful entity relationships, and well-structured, useful information all matter.

Content understanding
03 / 03

Get Cited

Work toward visibility as a useful source in AI-generated answers. Strengthen clarity, topical relevance, and the information that helps systems evaluate and reference your content.

AI answer visibility

Measure what each channel can actually show.

Search performance and AI-referred visits provide different signals. Reporting should distinguish them rather than treating them as the same metric.

Google Search Console

Review available search performance data, including impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and average position for supported search types.

Google Analytics 4

Examine referral traffic attributed to AI platforms when the source is identifiable in analytics data.

A measurement-first approach. Search Console and Analytics answer different questions, and neither replaces the other. AI Search is still evolving, so visibility should be investigated and measured where possible—not presented as a guaranteed ranking, citation, or traffic outcome.

My Process / How I Work

How I approach a project.

Find the constraint before prescribing the work.

The same checklist does not solve every SEO problem. I begin by understanding the business, website, target market, search behavior, and current performance. From there, the work follows the constraints and opportunities that matter most.

The working process

Diagnose / Prioritize / Execute / Measure / Adapt

01

Diagnose

Review the website, analytics, Search Console data, technical health, competitors, and the business objective.

02

Prioritize

Separate critical constraints from lower-impact tasks. Evaluate effort, risk, search opportunity, and business relevance.

03

Execute

Implement or coordinate the appropriate technical, on-page, content, internal-linking, authority, and website improvements.

04

Measure

Track relevant changes using first-party search and analytics data, with metrics selected for the specific objective.

05

Adapt

Use what the evidence reveals to refine priorities, identify new constraints, and decide what deserves attention next.

Evidence guides the next decision.

Each stage informs the next. The aim is to focus effort on the constraints and opportunities that matter to the specific project, then adapt as the evidence develops.

A Note on Attribution

Evidence matters more than impressive claims.

Results deserve context, attribution deserves clarity, and client confidentiality deserves respect. This is how I present project evidence responsibly.

Standards behind the evidence

Context / Attribution / Confidentiality

01 / 03

Context before conclusions

Metrics and project descriptions should be read in their stated context. Search performance can change for multiple reasons; comparing two periods alone does not isolate the effect of an individual SEO activity.

02 / 03

Clear attribution

Wherever results are presented, my role, the scope of work, reporting source, and measurement period should be clear. The evidence should help readers understand what is being measured and what can reasonably be concluded.

03 / 03

Confidential by design

Private or unpublished client information stays confidential where required. Sensitive data is not included simply to make a case study appear more impressive.

Client confidentiality

Not every valuable detail belongs in public.

Some client data isn't public by design. Specific keyword sets, internal strategy documents, private analytics, and other sensitive information are withheld where confidentiality requires it. The results and evidence presented here are limited to information I'm permitted to share.

Transparent evidence. Responsible attribution. Respect for confidentiality.

Let's Talk

Have a search problem worth solving?

Start by understanding why your website isn't being found.

If your website isn't attracting the right search traffic or appearing where your audience looks for answers, the first step is to understand why. Tell me about your website, your target market, what you're trying to achieve, and where search visibility is falling short. I'll review the context before we discuss the appropriate next step.

Start with a short project enquiry. No guaranteed rankings or one-size-fits-all promises.
